From Tracy Joy: A couple more days to get names in:
Our new bags just keep getting better and better :) We've taken some of the concerns from our original line, and used it to make a new line of amazing bags! Though we do not advertise our bags as "luggage" style or for heavy storage, they are quit durable. All are now made form thick twill, the Kristine and Joey have a light, yet very durable padding. It helps keep the original body hugging feel (staying away from the ugly boxy style that many bags have), yet providing a nice bump resistance. The Reese bag has 1/2" foam padding, the thickest of all our bags. I would not recommend putting any bag through the "Airport/Airplane" luggage storage, however, they are 100% travel worthy. Our new line sports nothing but the best materials, padding and style combined

Two version of this shot. One with glasses and one without…I love the DoF of these. I am a fanatic of DoF and Bokeh (blur) in photographs. I also added a texture to the first one which gives it a bit of a different look.

{Little Boys} Plainfield, IL Natural light photographer
Little boys come in all shapes and sizes,
Shy and adventurous, full of surprises,
With misshapen halos and mischievous grins,
Small dirty faces, and sweet, sticky chins.
They'll keep you so busy, and yet all the while
Nothing can brighten the world like their smile.
And no greater treasure has brought homes more joy
Than a curious, active, and lovable boy! ~Author Unknown

Gramma bought this cute train outfit for Drew for Christmas and if you have a train lover you must have this. It is the cutest thing ever. he just loves it. My little conductor. I am dreaming of warmer weather. At least 60’s would be nice. But no, we have snow today. Oh man, will this ever end. I want to get out and take pictures!

{Candy Cane?!} Plainfield Illinois Area Photographer

Many of you don't know this, but our little Drew bug 4 years old was born
with a birth defect. He only has 2 fingers and a thumb and at birth the two
fingers were fused together. So at 10 months he had surgery to separate the
two fingers. Nothing stops him though and he makes sure I know every day
"mommy I sure do love trains". Happy, healthy, vibrant, curious little boy
who can do everything a kid can do with 10 fingers just with only 8. When
he asks why he was like that we tell him that that's how god made him and
not everyone is the same. Everyone is different in some ways. And anyways
that's all you need. He says "but mommy, I want to count to 10"...LOL, "use
your toes" I say...he says "OH YEAH, OK." Anyways, he is having another
surgery on Thursday and now that he is older he kinda knows what is going on
and I don't want to burden him with a lot of talk about it. But I am a
little nervous. Getting put under always scares me. He is just afraid it
is going to hurt but I told him they will give him lots of medicine...He
like medicine. LOL So please send us your happy, good, well thoughts our
way that everything will be ok and we can get through this surgery until the
next one which may be in a year. Yikes that came fast. That one might a
harder surgery. But anyways. Just a little insight. Sorry it's a book
long.

Cheesy Smile But I love it!
I yell way too much at my kids, but they're smart enough to read between the noise.
